Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: 2026-09-20

In short: some outbound links earn us a commission. They cost you nothing extra, they are always labelled, and they never change the numbers the calculator produces.

What an affiliate link is

If you click certain links to partner services and then buy something, this site may receive a commission from that partner. The price you pay is the same as it would be had you gone there directly.

Where they appear

Affiliate links appear only after you have a calculation result, in a section labelled "Partner". Every such link is marked with rel="sponsored" in the page source. They never appear as a popup, an interstitial, or anything you must dismiss to use the calculator.

What commission does not buy

This is the part that matters:

Why disclose at all

Because a calculator's only asset is whether you believe it. Disclosure is also required by the FTC in the United States, by the CMA in the United Kingdom, and by consumer protection law across the EU. We would rather state it plainly than bury it.

Not financial advice

Nothing on this site is financial, insurance or investment advice. It is an estimation tool. Verify any figure that matters with the relevant professional before committing money.
